The picture above is of a Canon 7D which is the camera that we used throughout filming. The EOS 7D combines high performance, versatillity and cinematic-style HD movies. 18 MP resolution delivers superb quality and 8 fps continuous shooting keeps you ahead of the action.
Canon 18-55mm zoom f/3.5-5.6 mf/af (wide angle) I will use the wide lens to give me a wide field of my shows. This means it will give the viewer a big shot of the setting. This lens will also help with the close of shots to make the sense feel more tense and motional. The screenshot above shows the cost for a Canon 7D camera with the 18-55 mm zoom lens that I will be using to shot the advert, this will be applied to my budget - £669.00
Rode VideoMic-R Shotgun - is a professional grade 1/2 condensor shotgun for use with consumer video cameras and personal audio recorders. The screenshot of the video mic shows the cost of the Rode VideoMic-R shotgun, this will also have to be applied cost of the budget - £70.88
Tripod - Velbon DV6000 + carry bag - This will help when I want to get a shot were the camera is needed to move. The screenshot below shows the cost of the Velbon DV6000 + carry bag and I will need to add this to my budget of my production - £65.90
With the large capacities, SanDisk Standard SD cards give you plenty of room to capture and store all your precious photos, safely and securely. Fast, and built to last, you can count on SanDisk Standard SD cards to be ready when you are, every day. The cost of a SanDisk 16gb memory card will also need to be added to the cost of the budget - £6.89
Budget of Equipment
Through the screenshots of the costings of the equipment I can start to see a budget that I will need to allow for me to create a budget for the advert. The costings for the equipment are as follows - £699.00 + £70.88 + £65.90 + £6.89 = £842.67.
Budget of Editing
For my editing to cut the advert in to an 1 minute advert I will need to use my Macbook Air, which has a cost of £999.00.
To edit the advert I will be using a piece of software called Adobe Premiere Pro and this will allow me to edit a piece of add effects to my advert. As I will need complete package and i'm a new customer it will have a cost of £45.73 as I only need the software for a month and that is the cost of the software for the month.
Overall my editing budget is as follows - £999.00 + £45.73 = £1,044.73.
Budget of putting the advert on TV
$90 to $2,500 = £60 to £1,662.
£1,662 - 60 = £1,602
If I spilt this cost down the middle the advert will ruffly cost me £1,602 to put the advert on TV so that the campaign is spread to my target audience.
Final Budget
£842.67 + £1,044.73 + £1,602 = £3,489.40.
I set myself a budget of £4,000 at the start and now knowing that I have spent less an that I feel that was realistic and successful at the same time to have that budget.
